Honey (Sweet)
Honey (Sweet)
Description
This honey is collected from large combs of the giant rock bee, Apis dorsata, which nests in high cliffs and tall trees. Traditional knowledge and hygienic methods are adopted by indigenous communities to harvest the combs.
Accumulated yellow particles on the surface are pollen, a nutritious protein. Do eat it. Crystallisation is a natural process in honey due to low temperature. Place the jar in sunlight or warm water to liquefy or soften the honey.
