The superfood Moringa (Drumstick) has gone places. But here is a quick and easy way to build it into our diets. Keeping it tasty and healthy.
Introducing Moringa Chutney Powder.
The Moringa tree used to be a regular feature in many a house. It still is in small towns. But as apartments crowded out our backyards, we lost access to this wonder tree.
And Moringa leaves have traditionally been part of our diets, but they are difficult to sell in stores, because they just don't hold up well when transported. So they too receded from the space we give Greens on our plates. Not available in the store, not seen on our plate!
At Bio Basics, we procure Moringa Chutney Powder made of Moringa Leaves from Sudha who has her own processing unit dealing with only organic items. The Chutney Powder includes dal and spices to make it taste awesome! And the Moringa leaves are organically grown, shade dried, and ground in small batches.
Medicinal, highly nutritious & rich in antioxidants, Moringa Leaves are a great source of amino acids, vitamin C, calcium & Iron.
The magic happens when Moringa Chutney Powder is mixed with cooked Rice. Mix roasted groundnuts and a bit of organic sesame oil to enhance the flavour of Moringa. Add some tempering (tadka) with the usual mustard seeds, curry leaves, dry chillies. Pair with a salad or raw veggies and your meal is done...
And now, taste it to believe it!
The quickest and easiest way to build in the magic of Moringa into a simple meal.
